Golf…

Somebody very smart once coined the phrase, “A bad day of Golf beats a good day at the office!”  Most of the time I agree with that!  I mainly wanted to keep my blogging streak alive so I figured I would share a shot of the ol’ photographer sharpening up his golf swing.  I got bored the other afternoon so I took my camera out to the course with me.  That was a sight I am sure.  Luckily the traffic at the course was pretty slow!  God Bless!

  3. Very nice shot, the picture and from the looks of it, the golf one too. You know I’m dying to know how you snapped it right at the point of impact!

  5. well… i wasnt going to embarrass my self and tell you exactly how i did it… but since you asked… what i did was i had the tripod set up and had the cable release on the camera… the camera was firing off 5 frames per second so i would set the release and run and hit the shot. it wasnt a great method for hitting the ball well… but i had to hurry b/c the buffer would fill up. i would take about 15 seconds to run from the camera to the tee and hit then back to the camera to stop it… so it would take about 75 frames per swing! i just got lucky on this swing and one of the 75 was dead on impact! like i said… i got bored!!!
